And directed by Hitesh Kewalya, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ stars ‘Gone Kesh’ actor Jitendra Kumar, ‘Talvar’ actor Gajraj Rao and ‘Badhaai Ho’ actress  Neena Gupta alongside Khurrana is one of the rare Bollywood actor to take on homosexuality film after ‘Kapoor &Sons’ and ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’.

The film has received freak out reviews from fans, critics and celebrities. Indian Express’ film critic Shalini Langer gave the film a 3.5-star rating. In her review, she wrote, “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’s achievement lies not just in going where Bollywood has not gone before. It is inconsistently portraying Kartik (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Aman (a superb Jitendra Kumar in his debut film role) as just a couple, not ‘homo’ or ‘hetero’.”
