The hold back for the producer Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been extended for a long time now due to widespread of Covid-19. Yet it looks like the netizens have to wait a little bit more to evidence the chronicles of Kashmiri pandits on the silver screen. The producers of the movie starring Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher have delayed the release of the movie due to the rapid rising  numbers of Covid-19 cases in the nation.

Declaring the news on social networks, sources shared an innovative of India’s map that states, “Due to the significant spike in Covid cases in the country and the current scenario, we have decided to delay the release of our film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Let’s fight the pandemic together. Wear a mask and stay safe.”

Living up to its name, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a real tale, constructed on video conferences of the earliest suffererings of the Kashmir massacre of Kashmiri swami group. It is a heart breaking story of the torture, torment, suffering and fight of Kashmiri swamis and  enquires incredible facts about representative government, religion, humankind, belief and politics.


After gathering a huge round of applause for his previous much celebrated movie ‘The Tashkent Files’ that went on to achieve the prestigious national award in the year 2021, sources and producer Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri have come again with another tough movie, ‘The Kashmir Files’.

‘The Tashkent Files’ is a 2019 film based on the death of Laal Bahadur Shastri, the former Indian Prime Minister. The movie came out on 12th April 2019, which at first did not get such a positive response but became successful later.
