In every few years, Bollywood gets inspired to make a movie on the life struggles of a common man. A person who works from 9 AM to 5 PM, better known as 9 to 5 people among the elite class. But as a group the so-called “middle class” have led revolutions across nations, be it France or America every nation has a historic event led by the middle class.
This shows middle-class people are the ones with the strongest determination to bring change.
Now makers of 102 Not out and OMG: Oh My God !, are bringing the audience another story of the common man.
Starring Rahul Bhat, who was earlier in movies like “Fitoor”,” ugly” and “Section 375” and most recently in “Dobaaraa”. Is seen performing as the main character of VIJAY.
The story revolves around a common man struck in a confusion regarding his huge electricity bill.
To resolve the matter he approaches the electricity department where he faces another common issue of the common man of India which is “BRIBERY”.
Because whomever he approaches to resolve the matter asks him to consult another counter unless he pays a “certain under table fee”.
Vijay’s Love interest is performed by Priya Bapat who was earlier seen in Hindi movies making a cameo appearance such as “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S” and “Lage Raho Munna Bhai”. Will also be in the movie “Visfot” which is being currently filmed. She has been prominently active in Marathi cinema and television. She has won multiple Best Actress awards and nominations.
Also, Starring in the movie is Irfan Khan who was earlier seen and adored for his performance in “chillar party” he made his debut as a child artist in the same movie, he worked with the stars like Nawazuddin Siddique in “freaky Ali”,” Bombay talkies” and “haramkhor” and alongside Rajkumar Rao in “shahid”.
Also in” Yudh” starring Amitabh Bachan. He also shared screen space in “kai po che” with the gone but will never be forgotten Sushant Singh Rajput.
In the movie “chakki” he will be seen as the character helping and managing the shop the lead character (Vijay) owns. While Vijay will be busy handling the issue with the electricity department, Irfan will be seen handling his business in the flour mill.
