Mrs. Undercover: Radhika Apte is back with the espionage comedy Mrs. Undercover after an enjoyable appearance in Monica O My Love. On Sunday, the movie’s teaser trailer was released. According to her husband, Radhika is introduced as “simply a housewife,” but she actually has a covert espionage personality. “Home maker or perhaps a bone crusher #MrsUndercover #NotJustAHousewife only on #ZEE5, arriving soon,” Radhika wrote as the Instagram caption for the preview. In the teaser, Radhika is depicted as a housewife wearing a sari who appears to be having trouble with her responsibilities and appears to have no idea how anything works. While she performs her duties, she spills objects with her butter-fingered hands and even causes a mess by using a mixer without the jar cover. She doesn’t do anything; she is simply a housewife, her hubby (Saheb Chatterjee) responds when asked what she does. Soon after, Radhika makes a dramatic entrance while fighting criminals in the dark while wearing a black bodysuit.
Radhika’s new appearance was adored by the public, who complimented her in the comments. “Radhika ji you Look’s always dam amazing however this time look’s more appealing,” an admirer said. The movie is written by Abir Sengupta and directed by Anushree Mehta. Rajesh Sharma and Sumeet Vyas also have significant parts in the movie.
To honour International Women’s Day, the movie’s first poster was presented on March 8. “A housewife, a fearless agent, and a hero?,” she had written as the caption. Okay, she can do it all! Recognising the unsung heroines in our life on this #WomensDay. The movie, which was produced during second phase of the COVID pandemic, will air on ZEE5 on April 28.
