On Friday, Filmmaker Aanand L Rai confirmed his entry into Marathi cinema with “AatmaPamphlet”. Aanand is a known name in Bollywood due to his movies like Tanu Weds Manu, Zero, Raanjhanaa and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
Director-producer, Aanand L Rai has announced that he will be collaborating with filmmaker Paresh Mokashi of “Harishchandrachi Factory” fame and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series for an upcoming Marathi film. The film is titled, “AatmaPamphlet.
Rai’s production house Colour Yellow Productions took to twitter and shared the the poster of the film. The caption with the poster read, “Lights, camera and action! We are excited to announce that our first Marathi venture ”AatmaPamphlet” has started shooting.”

AatmaPamphlet is written by Mokashi and it will be helmed by debutant director Ashish Avinash Bende. The movie will be produced by Rai, Bhushan Kumar, Kishan Kumar and Mokashi”s company Mayasabha Karamanuk Mandali.
The shoot for the forthcoming film began on Friday in Mumbai.
Aanand L Rai is popular for directing and producing romantic-comedy movies. He rose to fame after the 2011 romantic hit film Tanu Weds Manu starring Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut got a lot of appreciation from everyone. He has also worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif in 2018 film Zero.
Apart from AatmaPamphlet, Aanand is all set to release his directorial “Atrangi Re”, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and South star Dhanush. Rai will be joining hands with Dhanush for the second time. The movie has been scheduled to hit silver screen on August 6.
Rai will also be collaborating with Kumar for another project titled, “Rakshabandhan”. He has also backed Janhvi Kapoor-starrer “Good Luck Jerry”.
