On Friday, actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal succumbed to Covid-19 complications. He breathed his last at the age of 52. Bikramjeet was last seen in Disney Plus Hotstar’s popular web series Special Ops.
Film and television actor Bikramjeet was admitted to Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai. He passed away on Friday due to covid-19. He was a retired army officer who had played supporting roles in many films and television serials.
Several bollywood celebrities offered their condolences on social media.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee expressed his shock over Bikramjeet’s demise and tweeted, “Oh my god!!! What a sad news!!! We knew each other for 14 yrs since the making of 1971! REST IN PEACE MAJOR!!! So Shocking (sic)!!!”

While re-tweeting a post shared by actor Gulshan Devaiah, Richa Chadha wrote on the microblogging site: “Rest in peace Major. Gone too soon!”
Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who has worked with Bikramjeet in Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bypass Road and Shortcut Romeo also wrote an eulogy on the social media platform. He wrote, “Extremely sad news. I’ve known Major Bikramjeet for so many years. He and I have worked on so many films together. The last being Bypass Road. Such a fantastic, encouraging and energetic human being he was and will always be remembered as. #RIP My dear friend will miss you.”

Bikramjeet Kanwarpal was a retired army veteran. He made his acting debut in 2003 and since then he had starred in films like Saaho, Page 3, and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Aarakshan, Murder 2,The Ghazi Attack, 2 States, Jab Tak Hai Jaan among others.
He also featured in television shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi Toh Hai. He shared screen space with Anil Kapoor in 24. Bikramjeet was also seen in series such as Special Ops, Illegal – Justice, Out of Order and Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai.
After the Covid-19 lockdown was imposed by the government last year, Bikramjeet had shared a video on YouTube, urging all to stay home.
