Bhuj: The Pride Of India is a film that is inspired by the journey of IAF Squadron Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airport when the Pakistani army attacked the Indian army. Going to be released on the platform of Disney+Hotstar, the exciting trailer has been dropped today.
The film has been directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya and includes a vast star cast of Ajay Devgn, Nora Fatehi, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Sharad Kelkar, and Ihana Dhillon. Apart from being an actor in the film, Ajay Devgn has also produced Bhuj. Dur to the starcast, the film’s trailer, and release date were the most awaited by the audiences which is set to release on digital platform Disney+Hotstar. The trailer seems to ignite the fire and passion of the Indian army while facing crucial circumstances.
The film is inspired by the journey of IAF Squadron leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airport, and how he re-constructed an entire IAF airbase along with the help of 300 women from a local village in Madhapar to protect our country.
The trailer seems to promise thrilling action sequences, several shades of emotions, the fire of patriotism, and the unity of the people in Bhuj. At the end of the 3-minute trailer, Ajay Devgn emerges from army wreckage and says, ‘Mera naam hai Sipahi’.

The film has been written by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah, and Pooja Bhavoria. The film is set to release on August 13, 2021, on the Disney+Hotstar VIP platform.
Initially, the film was slated for theatrical release worldwide on 14 August 2020 during the Independence Day weekend, but the production halt affected it. After a year, the film is again slated to release near Independence Day weekend for the audiences to watch.
