Dehati Disco will mark the acting debut of choreographer Ganesh Acharya. According to Ganesh, the film will be the first film to show Indian dance and arts in its purest form to the audience.
Besides, Ganesh, the movie will also star Ravi Kishan and Saksham Sharma. It is being helmed by Manoj Sharma and will be produced by Kamal Kishor Mishra.
Last year in October, the poster launch of the film was done by Ganesh along with actor Tiger Shroff, percussionist Sivamani and crew of ‘Dehati Disco’ in Mumbai.
During the launch Ganesh said, “Manoj (Sharma) came to me and told me that he wants to make a dance film, so I told him that I have registered one title for the film called ‘Dehati Disco’, so if you can do something around it then please do. After that, Manoj worked on every aspect of the film.”
He further added, “We roped in Sivamani to do the music and then we decided to do the film with producer Kamal Kishore Mishra and that’s how we started working on this film. It’s our small effort to make a dance film but I can say that it will be the first film which will show Indian dancing and art in its purest form to the audience.”
The film will go on floors from October 25 on the occasion of Dussehra.
