Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza have collectively returned on the large screen. They are splendid for the duration of this comedy and their chemistry is absolutely some thing that we have neglected seeing. The duo works so properly together that you can’t assist however recognize their mutual grasp of every other both in real and reel life.
Even even though the plot is a daring one, the film does not get wayward with its storytelling and sticks to what it can do best. Riteish is a bollywood gem when it comes to comedy and this is just anothr film in which he has nailed his role. There is nothing to whinge about him. Genelia is as continually likeable and enjoyable to watch. There is something about her that makes people wanna like her and it works splendidly in favour of her. Both of them have actually come up really well onscreen after a long time. Mahesh Manjrekar as the physician is charming and interesting to watch. The man simply knows how to cope with himself in all sorts of roles. We also see Rakesh after a long time and he is playing the role of a neighbour and he entertains us with immense funny dialogues. Speaking about the direction of Shaad, we did not get much impressed as we have seen him doing better job.
We would definately like to say that Mister Mummy is quiet a lengthy film and by reducing the length and adding a bit more comic languages the movie would have been better all together. It’s definately not a family entertainer but the movie is worth getting watched once. The chemistry of Ritesh and Genelia and all the elements stated there in the movie is all what we need to witness and what we wanted to since long. The movie is worth getting 3.5 stars out of 5.
