Actress Nora Fatehi’s fans got super elated after knowing that the actress will be starring opposite bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in the upcoming action thriller Ganapath. However, to much of their disappointment, latest reports suggest that the actress has been kicked out of the project.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Ganapath will showcase Tiger Shroff in a bold and dynamic role of a boxer from Mumbai. The movie will be made in two parts featuring Tiger in the lead opposite Kriti Sanon. But the movie needed another heroine and last year reports surfaced that actress Nora Fatehi and Nupur Sanon were roped in for the role.
However, according to a source Nora is no more a part of the film. A source aware of the development said, “Yes, there was a talk between Nora’s team and Jackky Bhagnani but her overenthusiastic PR machinery spoiled the show. In fact, when the news leaked out, everyone in the production was very upset and they later found out that Nora’s team had informed the media about it. This irked them and she was shown the door.” (Bollywood Hungama)
Currently, the makers are on a hunt for a new actor to step in for the part.
The source further added, “The main role is of Kriti who will be seen in both parts of the film. For the other part, Pooja Films will either cast Nupur Sanon or launch a new face in films.”
Ganapath will be bankrolled by producers Vashu Bhagnani, Vikas Bahl, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Jackky Bhagnani for Ganpath. The shooting for the film is slated to begin in mid-2021.
