Actress Priyanka Chopra entered into a new profession after opening her restaurant in New York. She officially announced this news on her social media accounts and shared glimpses of the restaurant.
Global icon Priyanka Chopra has proved to be unstoppable with her ventures. The actress turned producer and author has now added another feather in her cap. Chopra has opened an Indian restaurant ‘Sona’ in New York.
The Quantico star, shared 3 photographs on her social media along with a long caption. The picture showed the nameplate of the restaurant and two of the photographs were from 2019, when Priyanka performed pooja at the restaurant with restaurant partner Maneesh Goyal and singer-husband Nick Jonas.
She wrote on twitter, “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef #HariNayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country. SONA is opening later this month, and I can’t wait to see you there!”

Chopra further wrote, “This endeavour would not have been possible without the leadership of my friends @mkgoyal and #DavidRabin. The second and third photos were taken in September 2019 when we performed a small intimate Puja (prayer ceremony) to bless the space that would soon become #sonanewyork Godspeed!”
The ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ actress was last seen in the Netflix movie ‘The White Tiger.’ On February 9, Priyanka had released her memoir ‘Unfinished’ in which she talked about the highs and lows of her life.
