The suspenseful new poster for Mrs. Undercover, starring Radhika Apte as the main protagonist, is released by ZEE India.
Since it was announced, Radhika Apte’s next movie Mrs. Undercover has generated a lot of buzz. This ZEE5 Exclusive will feature the performer who was among the forerunners of the OTT wave in India. The film’s creators have now revealed on social media that streaming will begin in April.
The movie will feature Radhika Apte in a never-before-seen role as a housewife and an undercover spy. A spy combating various bad guys and patriarchal ideologies.
The film, written and directed by Anushree Mehta, a starlet, depicts the story of Durga, a typical Indian housewife who is called to return to her job as an undercover agent following a 10-year sabbatical.
Apte will portray a homemaker who is secretly a special undercover agent back to duty after a ten-year sabbatical in this thriller, which has enjoyed a rise in popularity in recent years. It has multiple dimensions, including battles with patriarchy and commitments to one’s family, and is directed by debutante Anushree Mehta.
Since then, she has completely forgotten about being an undercover agent and is “just” a housewife taking care of her demanding patriarchal husband, kid, mother-in-law, and father-in-law.
A spy humour genre which has not been widely explored is attempted in Mrs. Undercover. In the film, Rajesh Sharma portrays the Special Forces commander, and Sumeet Vyas portrays the bad guy. Moreover, Rajesh Sharma plays Durga’s employer.
In conjunction with Jaadugar Productions, Knight Sky Movies, and B4U Motion Pictures, the direct-to-digital film will launch on streaming services in April. This new spy thriller has fans very excited.
