The Bollywood industry said that Rhea Chakraborty was traumatized due to the death of her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput and the media trials she faced after his death as she was blamed for his suicide.
Chehre, a film that stars Rhea Chakraborty has released its first poster. The poster features Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, even Annu Kapoor and Bengali actor Dhritiman Chatterjee, Rhea cannot be seen anywhere.
There are guesses that she is no where seen in the poster as she wants to make a silent comeback to Bollywood this year.
A close concerned friend of the actress says, “Not even in her wildest dream had Rhea anticipated this snub. After all that she had gone through in 2020 she was somehow trying to piece together her life again…only to be rudely awakened to the reality. She is not welcome in Bollywood, it seems.”
The friend replies, “After what she went through, do you think this snub would shatter her? Not at all. She has fought many hurdles during the last year. She would fight this one too.”
After she is not seen in the poster, there are questions if her scenes will be cut from the film as well.
The director has also not spoken anything about this matter. Rumi Jaffery is Rhea`s close friend and has supported her many times.
Reveals a source, “Rumi Jaffrey had no say in the matter. He was not consulted about the date of release of Chehre. Or about Rhea going missing from the poster.”
Rhea Chakraborty was Sushant Singh Rajput`s girlfriend and after his death in 2020, she was blamed by his father for killing his son. His father filed an FIR in which it was mentioned that she used to give drugs to his son. Rhea and her brother were arrested by the NCB and have been released some time back.
Rhea was last seen in the movie Jalebi that was released in 2018. The movie also stared Varun Mitra. She is expected to be seen in the movie Chehre that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Emran Hashmi. It is directed by Rumi Jaffery and produced by Anand Pandit and will be released this year.
