Since the revelation of Sanjay Dutt’s key part in ‘KGF Chapter 2,’ the veteran actor has been back in the spotlight. His debut appearance as the ferocious Adheera, the film’s formidable villain, astounded his followers. Dutt is heavily involved in the movie’s marketing campaign.
During one of the recent media appearances, the well-known actor was questioned about his thoughts on the shifting landscape of movie content and viewers’ response. Sanjay quickly responded that, despite shifting trends, mass entertainers will always be essential. Movies featuring action thrills and heroism, he believes, will never be stereotyped. Along with his own movies like ‘Vaastav: The Reality’ and ‘Khal Nayak,’ the talented entertainer believes the Bollywood entertainment industry should return to its roots and take some idea from commercial melodramas like ‘Sholay’ and ‘Zanjeer.’ Sanjay recommends filmmakers should start creating movies like these classics.
When questioned about his experience working with new generation entertainers like Ranbir Kapoor in his forthcoming movie ‘Shamshera,’ Sanjay Dutt replied that collaborating with them is a really good experience since they are dedicated and motivated.
He was also questioned if he was happy with portraying love roles opposite younger females over the same interview, and the seasoned entertainer argued that entertainers should come to grips with their age.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s next movie, ‘KGF 2,’ will be released on April 14 and will star Yash, Raveena Tandon, and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles, with Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, and Achyuth Kumar playing supporting roles. The much-anticipated follow-up will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
