On Tuesday, actors Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra begin shooting for their upcoming crime thriller “Love Hostel”.
Shankar Raman who led the 2017 film “Gurgoan” that starred Pankaj Tripathi has written and directed the film.
The film also stars Bobby Deol. Vikrant Masey on Instagram shared a picture of the copies of his and Sanya`s script of the film.
“And we begin,” he wrote.
On the other hand, sharing the script, Sanya wrote, “#LoveHostel And we begin… @shanksthekid @sanyamalhotra_ @iambobbydeol @redchilliesent @drishyamfilms.”
Gauri Khan, Gaurav Verma of Red Chillies Entertainment and Manish Mundra of Drishyam Films will produce the film “Love Hostel”. The film is co-produced by Shahrukh Khan`s production house.
The film will be based on a young couple being hunted by mercenary.
The shooting of the film was stopped by a group of farmers in Patiala who are protesting against the three agriculture farm laws. They said that nobody from Deol family commented on the farmers protest referring to Bobby Deol.
The announcement of the film was made last October.
Vikrant Massey was seen in movies like Dil Dhadakne do, Half girlfriend, Chappak, Ginny weds Sunny and in web series such as Dolly kitty aur woh chamakte sitare, Made in Heaven, Broken but beautiful, Mirzapur and Criminal Justice. He was a television actor who has now turned into a cinema actor. He was seen in the famous television show Balika Vadhu. He has Haseen Dilruba, 14 Phere, Mumbaikar and Yaar jigri in pipeline.
Sanya Mahotra got fame from the movie Dangal that starred Amir Khan and Fatima Sheikh. She was seen in movies like Badhai ho against Ayushmaan Khurrana, multi-starred Ludo and Shakuntala Devi. She is working on Love Hostel and Pagglait.
