Late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s elder son Babil Khan has dropped hints on making his Bollywood debut. Though Babil did not disclose what he is currently working on but he wrote that some stuff is cooking.
On Thursday, Babil Khan took to his official Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture of his Father Irrfan Khan from the movie Maqbool. With the picture he hinted at his plans of joining the film industry soon.
In the picture, Bollywood actress Tabu can be seen standing in a white-coloured salwar suit as a young Irrfan sits near her and attends to her wounded foot.
While remaining tightlipped about his debut, Babil hinted that he will soon reveal what he is up to. He wrote, “I know it’s been a minute. When my superstitions allow me to, I will reveal what I’ve been busy with, but there’s some stuff cookin’.”
He further added, “Anyway, since I’m obviously extremely frightened on having started my journey in Indian cinema without any formal training on acting and 8 years too early, I often calm my anxieties by looking at baba’s pictures from NSD and earlier films. Here’s something for his fans.”
Currently, Babil is in London. He is pursuing a course in acting/filmmaking. The throwback picture shared by him was a treat for Irrfan’s fans.
After battling with neuroendocrine tumour for almost 2 years, actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last in April last year. He was last seen in the 2020 movie “Angrezi Medium.” The movie was released just before the lockdown was imposed. His final film ‘The Song of Scorpions’ is all set to release soon.
