Rumors were there that channel Start Bharat’s popular crime TV show Savdhaan India fired their host actor Sushant Singh. He was hosting this show for the past seven years. Recently, Sushant participated in the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protest in Mumbai and due to this anti participation against the government, the makers of the show asked to leave him.
According to the reports, Star Bharat denied these speculations and said the show’s format will be changed and the new format did not need a presenter. They also said that they always experiment with their format and they had used multiple narrator-cum-host for the show. Whereas Sushant Singh announced his departure from the show through a tweet. In his tweet, he wrote'”And, my stint with Savdhaan India has ended.”Commenting on his post, a user wrote whether it was the “price” he paid for “speaking the truth”.To this, the actor said, “A very small price my friend. Otherwise, how will you face Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru?”
In an interview with ABP News, Sushant said that he does not support the Citizenship Amendment Act and he thinks this act divides the people of the country on the basis of religion. He expressed his views on how police handled the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University.
