The fans now have to wait a bit longer for the laughter king to be back on screen. The Kapil Sharma Show, one of India’s most watched comedy show is postponed again due to high remuneration demand from the comedian’s team, as reports suggest.
The show has been off-air since January this year. At first, Kapil Sharma just wanted a break to spend time with his little one and was supposed to come back in July or August. But, now the reason for the show’s postponement is a whole lot different.
The country is already missing the comic timing and witty sense of humor of Kapil Sharma in these pandemic times. But, now they have to wait extra long for one of the highest TRP gaining show to come back on air.
Kapil Sharma and his team are demanding higher salaries to cone back to the show and reportedly negotiations are currently going on and the makers of the show are trying to find a mutual ground for both parties to start the show again.
It is being said that the show will now host a new generation of fresh talents alongside the previous crew including Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar along with the mentor Archana Puran Singh.
In a recent interview, comedian Bharti Singh opened up about the popular show’s comeback, “We were told it should mostly begin in July or August. We were all talking amongst ourselves, and Kapil Bhai also wants to resume with it in July, as the show has been shut since January and there has been a good enough break now. Jaisa aas paas ka mahaul chal raha hai, mujhe lagta hai ki humara show vapas hi aana chahiye (Looking at the situation around, I feel our show should return).”
