In Chandigarh, the poster for Yogi Devgun’s produced and directed short film “A silent escape” was unveiled. The movie stars Kiranpreet Kaur, Rudi Devgun (Child Artist), Sardarni Preet and Arvind Kumar AK.
A quiet escape, a short film, was shot in a number of cities, including Chandigarh. The story of Harper with her son is told in the movie against the backdrop of child trafficking. After a 15-year marriage that ended in divorce, Harper travels back to India from Australia. Her homecoming to India unleashes a wave of suffering and agony because she got married against her father’s desires. Harper regrets leaving her marriage after she gets back to India. She is then sexually assaulted, and her son is taken from her and ends up in.

In an exclusive interview with Boogle Bollywood, Sardarni Preet was asked about her character in the film. She replied “it was a challenge for me playing this character since having done something like this before, it was a new experience for me but it was great doing this film”. When asked about her off-screen friendship with Arvind Kumar Ak, she replied “we did not meet on the first day of the shoot. We actually met on the 2nd day. He is a very sweet person. After we have a fight scene, he always asks me if I am okay.”.
In an exclusive interview with the director Yogi Devgun, he talked about the film, “ it is a short film. We did shooting in Punjab. It’s about a mother and son’s connection.”
When asked about the collaboration of Sardarni Preet and the director Yogi Devgun, he replied, “whenever I choose a character for my film, I always take a screen test, so when I took the screen test of Preet I really liked it. Actually, she was not free since she shoots for 7 days a week. I liked her performance in the screen test so much that I always wanted her in the film”.
