Anurag Kashyap earlier had cited about these social media boycott tendencies, “I’m accustomed to it. Those whose movies gross more than Rs. 100 crore are affected. My films have not surpassed 32 crores yet. It is nothing new to me. Since Twitter’s inception, I have been shunned. Query me about matters that concern me.”In the same interview as Taapsee, she stated to the portal, “When even great names are being boycotted, I feel out of place. Who wouldn’t dream to go neck to neck with Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar? Please also boycott us. Keep with us.” She even said that, in contrast to other Bollywood stars, she never had images trend on Twitter.
