The newly launched trailer for Brahmastra has piqued the curiosity of the public and has received a lot of favourable feedback and love. However, a scene appears to have gotten some attention, as some of them have expressed their displeasure with it. Despite the fact that the movie is an Indian mythological imagination drama, it has been criticised for a sequence in which Ranbir Kapoor enters the temple without his shoes. However, in a statement, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji corrected the scene, saying that the photo in issue is of him visiting a Durga Pandal rather than the temple grounds.
Scenes from the Brahmastra The scene in question shows Ranbir Kapoor approaching the idol while wearing his shoes. Readers are likely aware that in Indian tradition, footwear is usually stripped away while visiting a temple, since it represents the courtesy we practise when entering someone’s home. A Durga Pandal, on the other hand, is not the same as a temple. As the developer of this movie (and a worshipper), I wanted to sincerely confront what transpired here, director Ayan Mukerji said in a statement. Ranbir does not enter a temple in our film, but rather a Durga Puja Pandal. For the past 75 years, my family has hosted a similar Durga Puja festival. One that I’ve been a part of since I was a youngster. We only remove our footwear on the podium where the Goddess appears, not while entering the Pandal, in my knowledge.
For me, it is very important to explain to each and everyone who may are unhappy with this picture.. because above everything, Brahmastra is produced as a movie experience that ends up paying respect to, and commemorates Indian culture, customs, and background, Ayan said, adding, That is why I produced this film, and it is critical to me that every Indian who watches Brahmastra feels the same way.
Brahmastra is the first instalment of an Indian mythical fantasy trilogy, and it stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the key roles. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy play significant parts in the film. The picture, which is bankrolled by Karan Johar and distributed by Dharma Productions, will be released on September 11th.
