The brilliant team of filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and national award-winning performer Manoj Bajpayee reunite to fascinate the viewers with yet another captivating watch on discovery+ after the resounding success of “Secrets Of Sinauli: Discovery Of The Century.”
Neeraj Pandey expressed his “great joy” at working once more with Bajpayee and the OTT platform.
Because of his remarkable storytelling talent, Manoj is the best candidate to describe the voyage of the iconic Kohinoor, which everybody has heard about but never had the opportunity to call their own. “I have no doubt that people all across the world will find this historical voyage fascinating,” the director said in a statement on Monday.
Raghav Jairath is the director of Secrets of the Kohinoor, which is bankrolled by Pandey’s Friday Storytellers.
Bajpayee appeared in famous movies like Special 26 and Aiyaary under the direction of Pandey. He mostly performs in Hindi-language films but has also appeared in Tamil and Telugu productions. He has won two Asia Pacific Screen Awards, six Filmfare Awards, and three National Film Awards. The Special Jury National Award for Pinjar was won by the actor in 2003. This was followed by a string of fleeting, underappreciated performances in movies that did nothing to further his career. In the well-liked political thriller Raajneeti (2010), he later portrayed a rapacious politician. Sardar Khan was portrayed by Bajpayee in Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012.
