If recent speculations are to be believed, Rhea Chakraborty, who last appeared in the 2021 blockbuster Chehre alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, is about to make her Bengali debut. Bengali producer Rana Sarkar tweeted the actress a birthday greeting and an invitation to visit them in Kolkata. As per the reports that Sarkar stated in an interview that her management has already been contacted with a script. Treachery is a major theme in the plot.
According to the reports, the producer believes that the entertainer’s career is being impeded by controversy and that she is not receiving fair deals in Mumbai.
After the entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty’s beloved, died in 2020, her life took a dramatic change. She was subjected to many CBI, ED, and NCB interrogations after being charged with aiding suicide. She was also imprisoned for almost a month until the Bombay High Court granted her release. On the second anniversary of her ex-boyfriend and late actor Sushant’s passing, Rhea recently posted a lot of previously unreleased photos with him and expressed her “day-to-day miss” for him.
Rhea Chakraborty’s life had a significant upheaval after the death of her beloved performer Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. She was accused with helping suicide and then subjected to many ED, CBI, and NCB investigations. Prior to receiving her release from prison by the Bombay High Court, she was also detained for about a month. Rhea recently tweeted a tonne of never-before-seen pictures of her ex-boyfriend and late entertainer Sushant, expressing her “day-to-day miss” for him on the second anniversary of his demise.
Rhea and Showik have been accused by the prosecution of using drugs, as well as of getting drugs for the deceased Bollywood star and paying for them. On June 14, Sushant committed suicide at his Mumbai home.
