Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar who is the director of Salman Khan starrer upcoming movie is sticking with his decision to release the film in the theatres. Reportedly, Mahesh has revealed his views on why the movie shouldn’t be released digitally.
As revealed by sources, Mahesh Manjrekar believes that Antim: The Final Truth is meant for the theatrical experience. He is firm with the decision of not giving the film a digital release. He also said further that the makers are hoping that the Maharashtra government decides on opening the theatres in October. Because, the team is expecting to give this movie a festival release around Diwali.
Antim is an adaptation of the Marathi hit film Mulshi Pattern, where Salman Khan will be seen playing the role of an honest police officer who locks horns with Aayush Sharma who apparently plays a gangster in the film.
Recently, the Guardian Minister of Maharashtra made a statement saying that the theatres in Mumbai will not be opening in October as the Covid cases are on a rise again.
