Action Hero Films, Vidyut Jammwal’s production company, teamed up with Sankalp Reddy, a National Award-winning filmmaker, for a first-of-its-kind espionage thriller dubbed IB 71. Our country lad has begun its first schedule in Mumbai, determined to tell a beautiful story to the public. As a producer, Jammwal is starting a new chapter with the release of his company’s first film.
IB 71, featuring Vidyut as an Intelligence Officer, depends on a genuine tale concerning how Indian Intelligence Officers outmanoeuvred the entire Pakistani foundation and furnished our military with the essential benefit to battle a two-front war. Sankalp Reddy, who coordinated Ghazi, has a particular aversion to the topic of the film.
“It’s a new beginning for my production firm Action Hero Films,” producer-actor Vidyut Jammwal said of the film’s first schedule. I’m ecstatic to be a part of a film that revisits a great period in history. It’s a tale of intelligence officers’ ingenuity, which I appreciate wholeheartedly. My team and I are thankful to have started the year off on such a positive note.”
“The filming for IB 71 has commenced in full swing,” adds director Sankalp Reddy. We’re all excited to share its tale with the public in a way that honours India’s unsung heroes. Here’s a film that’s ready to rewrite the definition of heroism. I’m delighted we’re off to such a great start.”
“We kick off 2022 with renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for our intelligence professionals, who defend us without seeking credit for it,” says Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series. With IB 71, we wish to pay tribute to them. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of a film based on such a big-hearted story.”
Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Film, and Reliance Entertainment are presenting IB 71. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Action Hero Films, and Reliance Entertainment, with Abbas Sayyed as a co-producer. It is directed by Sankalp Reddy.
