Amdist coronavirus outbreak, many bollywood celebrities came forward to help the country to fight against coronavirus. Actors are donating money in PM cares fund which provide financial help to the people. Whereas, Varun Dhawan recently, took pledge that he will provide meals to doctors and poor people.
Varun took to Instagram to share a note which read, “With each passing day of being lockdown at home, my heart goes out to all those who have no home in this time of crisis. And so this week I have committed to provide meals for the poor who are without homes or jobs.
I also have deep admiration for all those who are risking their lives by working on the frontlines. I’ve committed to provide meals to doctors and medical staff at hospitals. All meals are provided through the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. It’s a small step. But during a crisis like this, we have to make every step count. I will continue to do what best I can.”
The actor also contributed 55 lakh to PM cares fund and Maharashtra CM funds. He donated 25 lakh to Maharashtra Cheif Minister fund and 30 lakh to PM Cares Fund. He often seen sharing vedios and pictures to inform his followers to follow lockdown rules.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan is all set to release his next movie Coolie no. 1 this year. He will be working opposite Sara Ali Khan in this movie. The movie date was supposed to be release on 1st May but due to current situation the original release date has been pused forward.
