For a very long time, the fans have been requesting from Punjabi cinema stories other than comedies. For producers, stepping outside the predetermined boundaries has never been easy. Since the audience has never been very receptive of the former, creating thrillers as a whole is an exciting endeavour for creators, producers, and the acting cast. Recently, ideas promoted by Gippy Grewal have led us to doubt the aforementioned. His film, Warning, has established standards and shown viewers that cinema is much more than just humor. His previous effort, “Criminal,” left our hopes drooling after “Warning.”
The production, which is sponsored by Big Daddy Films, stars some of the most talented actors, including Raghveer Boli, Prince Kanwaljit, Dheeraj Kumar, and Neeru Bajwa. Garinder Sidhu, who makes his debut in the business with Criminal, is the film’s director. Let’s look at our evaluation of the film Criminal to find out what makes it unique. Arjun (Dheeraj Kumar) and Mahi (Neeru Bajwa), a disturbed couple, try to mend their fragile relationship by going on a trip and driving into their apartment, where horrible gangsters have sought sanctuary after fleeing the jail, ready to shoot anyone in their route to freedom. The couple makes every effort to flee and call the police, but as the pressure becomes unbearable, they must put their lives in danger.
Neeru Bajwa is the project’s flame, notwithstanding how much the criminals were exalted in the trailer. Thus, she gave one of her best performances to date. She exudes an air of confidence, charm, and beauty all at once. The finest thing would be to see her in a thriller. When it comes to Prince Kanwaljit, his acting prowess is evidence that he is in a league of his own. You’ll get chills from his focus on the character and ability to hold onto him. His character “Bhoora” will serve as a template for such thriller characters in the future. We were impressed by Raghveer Boli’s new side. It seems that this film has revealed a great deal about Boli. His conversation delivery and pace are excellent. Dheeraj Kumar seems to have more of a love-than-a-thrill angle with Neeru and has demonstrated this. He is both sincere and unexpected in equal measure. Well the movie definately is slated to have 3 out of 5 stars.
