The late Satish Kaushik’s family received a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his condolences. Anupam Kher, a friend of the late actor, tweeted the letter PM Modi wrote to Shashi Kaushik, Satish Kaushik’s wife, on Saturday. The seasoned actor, who has been paying tribute to the memory of Satish Kaushik on social media, tweeted on Shashi’s behalf to express her appreciation to the Prime Minister.
Anupam Kher tweeted the letter that PM Modi had written in Hindi along with an expression of thanks on behalf of Shashi Kaushik, Satish Kaushik’s wife “Highly regarded PM Narendra Modi, your thoughtful letter has provided comfort for my family and Myself during this difficult time. When the nation’s prime minister expresses sympathy for the losing a loved one, one is given the courage to handle the sadness. I thank you and ask God for a long life on behalf of my wife, Vanshika, our entire family, and all of Satish ji’s admirers. Regards, Kaushik Shashi.”

PM Modi had wrote in Hindi in the letter, “Hearing about Satish Kaushik’s premature passing made me feel very sad. I send my sorrow to you & your family during this trying time. The late Satish Kaushik was indeed a multi-faceted man; he made enormous contribution to Indian film with his talent. He excelled in a variety of roles as a talented writer, actor, director, and producer.” He also wrote in Hindi on the late Satish Kaushik, “He set a solid platform for his family and was encouraging. There are no words to describe his loss. Even if he isn’t here right now, his family will carry on his memories and principles.”
Late Satish Kaushik’s recent project, Pop Kaun? released yesterday on Disney+ Hotstar. He will also be seen few upcoming movies.
