Recently, the Babli Bouncer trailer was unveiled, with star Tamannaah Bhatia playing the lead. The more than two-minute-long film, which followed Tamannaah’s transition from a weightlifter in Fatehpur Beri to a bouncer at a Delhi nightclub, was published by Disney+ Hotstar on its YouTube channel.
The father of Tamannaah (Babli) in the trailer, Saurabh Shukla, boasts that she “can lift bigger weights than any other builder in the gym,” while Tamannaah’s mother, Supriya Shukla, makes fun of her for not being able to make circular chapatis. Tamannaah’s character in the trailer declines to wed Abhishek Bajaj’s character because she is more concerned with establishing a profession in Delhi and becoming independent. Tamannaah takes the position of a lady bouncer when one of her gym coworkers makes the offer. As the clip continues, Tamannaah says she swore to her father she wouldn’t hit anyone. She is, nevertheless, observed in the streets slapping criminals and kidnappers.
On September 23, Babli Bouncer will be available on Disney+ Hotstar in the languages of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Tamannaah, Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj, and Sahil Vaid are among the cast members of the Madhur Bhandarkar-directed movie. The idea, the narrative, and the script were written by Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath, and Madhur Bhandarkar and were produced by Star Studios and Junglee Pictures. The Babli Bouncer filming was finished this year in March. Asola Fatepur, the actual “bouncer town” in North India, serves as the setting for the coming-of-age feel-good tale Babli Bouncer.
In the forthcoming comedy Plan A Plan B on Netflix, Tamannaah also stars alongside Riteish Deshmukh. The premiere date is September 30. The film, which was written and directed by Rajat Arora, also stars seasoned performer Poonam Dhillon and socialite Kusha Kapila.
