Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar on Monday informed that she has mild symptoms of coronavirus. She took to Instagram to share the news.
She wrote, “I HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. As of today, I have mild symptoms, but am feeling ok and have isolated myself. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals. If you have been in contact with me, HL request you to please get tested immediately.”
“Steam, Vit – C, Food and a Happy Mood are my go-to. Please don’t take the current situation lightly, even though I followed utmost precaution and care I’ve contracted it. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour,” she added.
After Akshay Kumar, Bhumi becomes the latest celebrity to test positive for coronavirus. Before her, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor tested positive.
Earlier, Bhumi`s co-star Akshay Kumar tested positive for coronavirus. He wrote, “I’m doing fine but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care.”
Akshay tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday. He was under home quarantine and on Monday he was hospitalised.
Bhumi will next be seen in movies ‘Badhaai Do’ that will release on 9 September 2021 and ‘Takt’ that will release on 24 December 2021.
Bhumi’s co-star Kartik Aaryan was diagnosed with Covid-19 late last month and has now recovered. He shared a picture of himself flashing a thumbs-up sign.
Last year, Bhumi was seen in three films — Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, and Durgamati.
During the pandemic, she finished shooting for Badhaai Do that is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, in which she stars opposite Rajkummar Rao.
