Director SS Rajamouli has made a significant declaration by claiming that his highly lauded mega masterpiece RRR is not a Bollywood production, despite a significant win at the 80th Golden Globe awards and tremendous Oscar hype. While having this meticulous interaction with Director of Guild of America in his movie screening Rajamouli gave a speech. The epic saga RRR, featuring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, is set in pre-independence India and follows an unflappable warrior who crosses paths with an implacable cop working for the British influences, he continued.
Well there has been a lot of conflicting regarding the South Movies Vs Bollywood Industry, for a few years now. The huge comparisions, between the South Movie. There was a time when South movie did amazingly well on the box office and at the same time it was not a good time for Bollywood Movies. There has been some statements and remarks regarding the same issue from the stars and people of both South and Bollywood industry, but anyhow things somehow made its way through.
Providing this scriputural Rajamouli cited that RRR is not counted as a Bollywood movie; it is a Telugu film originated through the southern province of India, which is the place from where he comes.
