Absolute Binge Entertainment is all set to make a web series on Delhi cop Seema Dhaka who rescued 76 missing children in under three months. The entertainment company is a subsidiary company of Absolute India Newspaper Group, which is owned by Yogendra Chaturvedi.
Bollywood has worked on many women-oriented films and now Absolute Binge Entertainment (ABC) is also ready to make another project on the same. ABC will soon produce a biopic on Seema Dhaka who is the first Delhi police officer to be honoured with an out of turn promotion. Seema was promoted before time for finding 76 missing children within three months. Of the 76 missing children, 56 were below the age of 14 years.
ABC will be making a web series on the lady cop to show her inspiring story to the world. Film critic Taran Adarsh also made an official announcement on Twitter.

Seema said she was surprised by ABC’s move. She said, “When ABE approached me to acquire the rights to make a web series based on my life, I was surprised.”
Talking about the web series, Seema said, “I am happy that a series that shows the story of the efforts that went into my mission to rescue children who had gone missing for 7-8 years will be known to the world.”
When asked about which actress Seema would want to see portraying her role, she said, “I cannot really judge who will be able to play my role in the film. There is Taapsee Pannu who is a good actor, of course Vidya Balan who has acted in a film in which she was seen rescuing children. Rani Mukherji has done a film ‘Mardaani’ which had women trafficking. All of them are good and I haven’t really decided on who will play my character. It also depends on who has the time and eagerness to do it.”
Seema wants the people to understand the message in her story. She said, “There was a Seema Dhaka who managed to achieve her target despite all the odds. She left her male counterparts behind and achieved her target to rescue 76 children.”
The series will be going on floors soon.
