G khan whose actual name is Gulshan Khan is known for multiple hits like Zindagi Tere Naal, Chandigarh Shehr, Narazgi and Gora Rang.
Has recently landed in a controversy for allegedly hurting religious sentiments during a private performance for a public gathering which was held on 9th September on the auspicious day of “Shree Ganesh Visarjan”.
The day of “Visarjan” is considered very auspicious as the 11 days of festivities end for until next year.
On 9th September G khan was performing At a gathering in the Janakpuri area on the request of Honey Bedi, son of former BJP MLA Harish Bedi who arranged the event and has also been booked in the case.
Sources state that Khan allegedly sang a vulgar song on stage where he was supposed only to sing devotional songs. Ludhiana Police of Punjab has booked the FIR Under Section 295-A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the IPC.
The accused are yet to be taken into custody, recently G khan was seen Apologising in a video which went viral on social media.
For the unversed, Amit Arora, vice-president of Shiv Sena’s Punjab unit, recently filed a court case against G Khan for supposedly hurting religious emotions and sentiments. According to the FIR made against the artist, the singer sang songs like “Pegg Mote Mote” and “Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai” even though it was an Auspicious function. He even claimed that these tunes further promote Alcoholism and obscenity.
