Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are all set to tie the knot on January 24 in Alibaug. Since the wedding is taking place during a pandemic, only a limited number of guests are invited which includes family and friends of the couple. In fact, father of the groom, David Dhawan has been having sleepless nights on who he should invite and who he should not. Nevertheless, it’s reported that the ceremony will be attending by a few Bollywood big wigs.
While the likes of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and countless others will be in attendance, it has been reported that no one from the Bachchan family was invited to the wedding. In fact, Govinda, who has worked with David in a number of films, was also dropped from the guest list. While Boney Kapoor’s children are invited, the producer himself isn’t.
A source revealed: “Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor is invited. Boney is not. No one from Anil Kapoor’s family is invited either. On the other hand dress designer Manish Malhotra who is related to Varun’s mother is invited, and so are Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. No member from the Bachchan family is invited for the wedding. This wedding is an encore of the Abhishek-Aishwarya wedding. It’s going to leave a lot of David’s friends permanently angry.”
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, childhood sweethearts, were reportedly meant to marry last year but were forced to postpone their wedding because of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. Post their grand wedding, Varun and Natasha are reportedly planning to host a reception in Mumbai.
